    I'm a new user since another website/forums have been taken down. But my few initial posts were met with vitriol and such harassing responses I wanted nothing to do with this web site. In the interim, I have found other (well respected) sites that give "Major Geeks" such a good recommendation, that I will consider giving it another try.

    What? You think I'm friendly? :p:p

    I hope to last here for a long while, but will be careful; some seem to be overly defensive about a lot of things. I will comment based on MY experience(s, since 1982 from Sinclair through Apple ][+. and now an i7-7700, about 20 computers total built or upgraded ,) and will freely admit MY experience(s) may not be that of others.
