Follow up question(s) if it's something else, what is it, and why do you like it?

What shows is everyone watching these days, and on which service does it live?

Looking for new shows to watch, but since I won't be working effective Friday, I need to pair it down to just one for now. Right now, today I've been watching a lot of Anime on Crunchyroll and would be ashamed to say I had watched most of it, if I gave a rat's @$$ what people think.

It's kind of a tie between HBO/MAX and Disney. I enjoy DC and Marvel. Seeing a graphic novel you read as a youngster come to animated life is just cool as all hell. Darwyn Cooke's Justice League: New Frontier" was great, especially dropping Kennedy's "New Frontier" 1960 DNC speech in at the end (still one of the best POTUS speeches). Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns" was spectacular. The "What If.." series from Marvel, DC's "Elseworlds", all great reads brought to life. And, the new season of "The Bad Batch" just dropped...

Netflix has some good thrillers. I do tire of watching horrors sometimes. It feels like, I know what to expect. Because if you watch one, you've already got the gist of what to expect.

One of the best old movies is The Invisible Man from the 30s. Dark in tone yet also rather humorous, thanks to Claude Rains' acting.

You'd be better off asking me what streaming service I don't care for. :p The only one I don't use is Disney. You don't have Paramount there which has great shows on it.

Which ones are you wantching these days? I forgot Paramount was a thing, but Walmart reminded me it's included in my Walmart+ subscription. I've watched all of Criminal Minds and CSI. I have Picard on my to watch list (was big for TNG, was waiting for the series to end and binge it, so that's when I forgot I had Paramount because ADHD).

On Paramount: The 2 new Star Trek Shows (Discovery and especially Strange New Worlds) are really good. Mayor of Kingston, Halo, Lawman:Bass, Special Ops: Lioness

I kept meaning to watch Picard. I watched a couple of eps but didn't get right into it. I know it's supposed to be good so I'll have to go back.

Picard was horrible. The first season was terrible, the second was marginally better, and the third and final season was finally somewhat decent.

I preferred The Orville on Disney+ :D. This is supposed to be a parody of Star Trek, although it was much more closer to the original TNG series than Picard.

Good to know on Picard. I won't go back since I didn't like the ones I watched.
The Orville is excellent! I watched that a while back on Hulu I think. I was hoping they'd come out with another season. So far nothing

I had heard that Picard took itself too seriously. I also prefer shows that do not.

That's where I am right now too. Watching the farewell season of "The Good Doctor" and rewatching "BONES." I loved that show.

I've watched the very first episode, and then I got distracted because ADHD (I love Martin Short) I'll make sure to check it out again.

And if you like that Try Death and Other Details. It's like Only Murders, but on a cruise ship.

The new Fallout series on Amazon Prime was surprisingly good. I had much lower expectations.

I've also started watching Season 12 of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is really hilarious.

Yep I binge watched the whole first season of Fallout last week.....all 8 episodes
I thought it was really good and as a regular Fallout player a lot of the scenery was very accurate especially for Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout New Vegas. The characters were all new but similar to some of the game NPCs and Lucy (the main character) was originally Vaultboy :)

My kids are watching that (they're 13, 15) but I haven't been able to sit still and watch. Lately I find myself watching a lot of true crime and paranormal shows.

I'm primarily an Amazon Prime person. However, lately I've been on Hulu and like it alot. I've been watching "The Resident" and "The Rookie". I'm usually 2-3 years behind on TV shows.

Also for movies, I'm finding that Hulu has a better selection.

Disney Bought them, So that makes a lot of sense. They're what I have right now, and Crunchyroll. I also have access to Disney+ (mom) Paramount+ (Walmart) and Basic Prime (no extra channels) but I can't decide what to watch when I actually have time.

Thanks for the great ideas guys, I'm not sure some of them fit with the things I gravitate to, but I'm always looking for new things and ideas/suggestions help a lot.
