This batch file utility will dump the contents of the below registry key to a file:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

This registry basically provides a list of all programs that are installed on your PC. It can be useful in fighting malware or to simply see what programs are installed.

Download the attach GetUnKeys.zip to your PC someplace you can locate it. Then extract all the files from the ZIP. Locate the GetUnKeys.bat file using Windows Explorer (right click the Start button and select Explore to open Windows Explorer) and double click on it to run it. It will create a file named GetUnKey.txt in the root of drive C: (C:\GetUnKey.txt) . This log will also popup in a notepad window which you can just close. Upload the GetUnKey.txt file here as an attachment.

Note: If your GetUnKey.txt log appears to be empty or semi-empty or if you get an error similar to the below when running GetUnKeys.bat and you are running Windows XP or Windows 2000, follow the steps further down that relate to your OS.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Window applications.

For Windows XP Pro: download and run XPproFix
For Windows XP Home: download and run XPHomeFix
For Windows 2000: download and run: W2KFix

Then run GetUnKeys.bat again and attach the log.
